TSR Legal in Newport is seeking a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join our growing team. You will manage your own caseload and deliver high-quality, personal service to clients.

The role focuses on wills, estate planning, probate, powers of attorney, trusts and related private client matters. STEP qualifications are welcome and the successful candidate will work closely with colleagues to grow the department.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with private client experience.
• Experience handling a private client caseload independently.
• Excellent technical knowledge and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and client-care skills with a compassionate, professional approach.
• Organised, commercially aware and able to manage competing priorities.
• Willingness to pursue further professional development.

Responsabilités

• Drafting wills, including complex wills where appropriate.
• Advising on estate planning, inheritance tax and succession matters.
• Administering estates and obtaining grants of probate and letters of administration.
• Advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection matters, where applicable.
• Advising clients on trusts and related private client matters.
• Managing a varied caseload efficiently and ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
• Building strong relationships with clients, professional contacts and referrers.
• Contributing to business development and the continued growth of the department.
