Private Client Solicitor / Legal Executive

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a highly regarded and experienced Private Client team in Exeter.

This role offers the opportunity to manage a varied caseload of private client matters while working within a supportive and well-established department. The successful candidate will advise clients on a broad range of private client issues and play an active role in maintaining and developing strong client relationships.

The caseload will include:

• Drafting Wills
• Probate and estate administration
• Trust administration
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Estate planning and succession matters

You will be responsible for managing your own files from instruction through to completion, delivering a high standard of client care and ensuring work is carried out in accordance with regulatory and risk management requirements.

The successful candidate will have experience handling private client matters and be confident managing their own workload. Strong communication, organisational and client relationship skills are essential, together with a proactive and professional approach.

Candidates with a STEP qualification are encouraged to apply. However, support will be provided for those wishing to undertake STEP studies and further develop their expertise within private client law.

The role also offers the opportunity to become involved in business development activities, helping to build and strengthen relationships with clients, referrers and the local community.
