Chadwick Nott is seeking a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a busy Private Client team in Cullompton. You will manage your own caseload across wills, probate, trust administration and LPA, building strong client relationships in the local area.

The role offers career development, opportunities for business development, and support toward STEP qualification where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Progress matters from instruction through to completion with accuracy and in line with firm procedures.
• Engage in business development activities to support growth of the private client department.

Private Client Solicitor / Legal Executive

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a busy and well-established Private Client team in Cullompton.

This role offers the opportunity to handle a broad range of private client matters within a supportive and experienced team. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload while building strong relationships with clients and professional contacts throughout the local area.

The caseload will include:

• Wills and estate planning
• Probate and estate administration
• Trust administration
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• General private client matters

You will be responsible for progressing matters from instruction through to completion, ensuring work is carried out accurately and in accordance with the firm's quality and risk management procedures. The role also offers the opportunity to become involved in business development activities and contribute to the continued growth of the department.

The successful candidate will have experience handling private client matters and be confident managing their own workload. Strong communication and client care skills are essential, together with a proactive and organised approach.

A STEP qualification would be advantageous, although candidates who do not currently hold STEP and are interested in working towards the qualification will be fully supported by the firm.
