Job summary

Reed is seeking a Private Client Solicitor in Cambridgeshire with 2-5 years PQE to join their private client team. You will manage an existing caseload covering wills, trusts, lasting powers of attorney, court of protection, and estate administration, while developing relationships with clients and referrers.

You will work in a supportive team and have access to a case management system and legal databases to support high-quality advice and client service.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years PQE in private client law.
• Experience handling a full caseload with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to provide high-quality advice across a broad range of private client issues.
• Proficient IT skills including case management systems and legal databases.

Responsibilities

Are you an ambitious and motivated private client solicitor looking for a new challenge?
Do you have experience in handling a range of private client matters?

My client in Cambridgeshire is looking for a Private Client Solicitor with 2-5 years PQE to join their private client department.

You will handle an existing caseload of private client matters, including wills, trusts, lasting powers of attorney, court of protection, estate administration, tax and trusts. You will also be expected to maintain and develop relationships with existing and new clients and third party referrers.

You will work as part of a friendly and supportive team. You will have access to a case management system and legal databases.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• At least 2 years PQE as a Private Client Solicitor
• Experience of running a full caseload with minimum supervision
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to provide high quality advice to clients from all sectors across a broad range of issues
• Good IT skills, including the ability to utilise a case management system
• Good working knowledge of legal databases
• Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
• Ability to form good relationships with clients and colleagues
• Well organised, punctual, confident and self-motivated
