Job summary

Legal Talent Partners in West London are recruiting a Senior Private Client Solicitor to take over an established practice from a retiring Partner. The role is office-based initially with hybrid working available after six months, offering a salaried arrangement and potential progression to Partnership.

You will manage wills, probate, trusts, LPAs and provide advice to individuals and families, supported by a paralegal.

• The candidate is a qualified solicitor with at least five years’ private client experience.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision.
• Strong track record as a fee earner.

Working pattern: Full-time, office-based initially, with hybrid working available after six months

We are working with a friendly and well-established West London law firm that is seeking a Senior Private Client Solicitor as part of a carefully planned succession strategy.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced lawyer to take over an established private client practice from a Partner who intends to retire within the next 12 months. You will work closely with the Partner during a structured handover period, giving you the opportunity to build strong relationships with existing clients and become an important part of the firm’s future.

The position is initially offered on a salaried basis, with a genuine opportunity to progress to Partnership.

The role

You will manage a broad private client caseload, including:

• Wills and estate planning
• Probate and estate administration
• Trusts
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• General advice to individuals and families

You will also have the support of your own paralegal, who will work alongside you and develop under your supervision.

About you

The firm is looking for someone who:

• Is a qualified solicitor with at least five years’ private client experience
• Can confidently manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision
• Has a strong track record as a fee earner
• Provides a personable, empathetic and commercially minded service
