Chadwick Nott is assisting a forward-thinking regional law firm in Bridgend to recruit a Private Client Partner to lead and grow its Wills, Probate & Private Client practice. Hybrid working, permanent full-time role with a strong fee-earning contribution.

The successful candidate will drive regional growth, supervise junior lawyers, and build relationships with clients and professional contacts while delivering exceptional client care and upholding high professional standards.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 8+ years’ PQE.
• Broad experience across wills, probate, estate administration, trusts, IHT planning, LPAs and Court of Protection work.
• Proven ability to win new business and develop strong professional relationships.
• Strong commercial awareness and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Previous leadership or management experience.
• Outstanding client relationship and business development skills.
• Excellent communication, networking and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong organisational and case management skills.
• High levels of professionalism, integrity and commercial judgement.

Responsabilités

• Identifying and developing new sources of work across Bridgend.
• Working with the Head of Private Client to deliver a regional growth strategy.
• Building strong relationships with clients, introducers and professional contacts.
• Acting as a visible ambassador for the firm through networking and community engagement.
• Managing a varied caseload including wills, probate, estate administration, trusts, LPAs, Court of Protection matters and estate planning.
• Maintaining a strong personal fee earning contribution.
• Recruiting, mentoring and developing colleagues as the team grows.
• Supervising junior lawyers and support staff.
• Ensuring compliance with SRA requirements and firm procedures.
• Managing time recording, performance reviews and management information.
• Collaborating with colleagues across all practice areas to maximise cross referral opportunities.
• Delivering exceptional client care and maintaining the highest professional standards.
• Working confidently with the firm’s Case Management System and embracing technology.
