Chadwick Nott is seeking a Private Client Partner in Bridgend (hybrid) to lead and grow the Wills, Probate & Private Client practice. You will manage a high-quality caseload and drive regional expansion across Bridgend.

The role requires 8+ years PQE, a proven ability to win new business and strong leadership and client relationship skills. The firm offers a competitive salary (£70,000–£90,000), hybrid working, and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 8+ years' PQE.
• Broad experience across wills, probate, estate administration, trusts, IHT planning, LPAs and Court of Protection work.
• Proven ability to win new business and develop strong professional relationships.
• Strong commercial awareness and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Previous leadership or management experience.
• Outstanding client relationship and business development skills.
• Excellent communication, networking and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong organisational and case management skills.
• High levels of professionalism, integrity and commercial judgement.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new sources of work across Bridgend.
• Deliver regional growth strategy with Head of Private Client.
• Build relationships with clients, introducers and professionals.
• Act as an ambassador for the firm through networking and community engagement.
• Manage a varied caseload including wills, probate, estate administration, trusts, LPAs, Court of Protection.
• Maintain a strong personal fee earning contribution.
• Recruit, mentor and develop colleagues as the team grows.
• Supervise junior lawyers and support staff.
• Ensure compliance with SRA requirements and firm procedures.
• Manage time recording, performance reviews and management information.
• Collaborate across practice areas to maximise cross referrals.
• Deliver exceptional client care and maintain high professional standards.
• Work with Case Management System and embrace technology.
