Chadwick Nott in Swansea is seeking an ambitious Private Client Partner to lead and grow its Wills, Probate & Private Client offering across Bridgend. Hybrid working, permanent full-time role with a competitive salary of £70,000 to £90,000.

The successful candidate will manage a high-quality caseload, identify new sources of work, develop a regional growth strategy with the Head of Private Client, mentor junior lawyers and ensure client care meets the firm’s highest professional standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years PQE as a solicitor or chartered legal executive.
• Broad experience across wills, probate, estate administration, trusts, IHT planning, LPAs and Court of Protection work.
• Proven ability to win new business and develop strong professional relationships.
• Strong commercial awareness and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Previous leadership or management experience.
• Outstanding client relationship and business development skills.
• Excellent communication, networking and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong organisational and case management skills.
• High levels of professionalism, integrity and commercial judgement.

Responsibilities

• Expand the Private Client offering across Bridgend while managing a high quality caseload.
• Identify and develop new sources of work across Bridgend.
• Work with Head of Private Client to deliver a regional growth strategy.
• Build strong relationships with clients, introducers and professional contacts.
• Act as a visible ambassador for the firm through networking and community engagement.
• Manage a varied caseload including wills, probate, estate administration, trusts, LPAs, Court of Protection matters and estate planning.
• Maintain a strong personal fee earning contribution.
• Recruit, mentor and develop colleagues as the team grows.
• Supervise junior lawyers and support staff.
• Ensure compliance with SRA requirements and firm procedures.
• Manage time recording, performance reviews and management information.
• Collaborate with colleagues across all practice areas to maximise cross referral opportunities.
• Deliver exceptional client care and maintain the highest professional standards.
• Work with the firm's Case Management System and embrace technology.
