Job summary

Law Staff is seeking a Private Client Partner to lead and develop the established Private Client team. The role combines high‑quality legal work with leadership, business development and the autonomy to shape the department's future.

You will join a collaborative, supportive firm that emphasises work‑life balance, career development, and client‑facing opportunities with a strong emphasis on building lasting relationships with HNW clients and referrers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ PQE in Private Client law.
• Proven experience handling complex, high-value Private Client matters.
• Strong leadership, supervision and mentoring skills.
• Track record of business development and building lasting client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and develop the Private Client team.
• Advise on wills, probate, trusts, tax and succession planning; Powers of Attorney.
• Build relationships with HNW clients, referrers and introducers.
• Drive business development and identify growth opportunities.
• Oversee the department’s commercial and financial performance.
• Ensure high standards of client care, supervision and compliance.
• Contribute to the Firm’s strategic development as a Partner.
