Qualifications

• 8+ years’ PQE in Private Client law with complex matters.
• Proven leadership, supervision and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Private Client team and department growth.
• Advise on wills, probate, trusts, tax and succession planning.
• Build relationships with HNW clients and introducers.
• Drive business development and cross-referrals across the Firm.
• Oversee commercial and financial performance of the department.
• Ensure high standards of client care, supervision and compliance.
• Contribute to the Firm’s strategic development as a Partner.

As Partner & Head of Private Client, you will lead the team, drive the department’s growth and manage your own high-quality client portfolio.

Type of work for this Private Client Partner role:

• Lead, support and develop the Private Client team.
• Advise on complex matters, including wills, probate, trusts, tax and succession planning, and Powers of Attorney.
• Build relationships with HNW clients, professional referrers and introducers.
• Drive business development and identify growth opportunities.
• Develop cross-referrals across the Firm.
• Oversee the department’s commercial and financial performance.
• Ensure high standards of client care, supervision and compliance.
• Contribute to the Firm’s wider strategic development as a Partner.

Key specifications for this Private Client Partner opportunity:

• 8+ years’ PQE in Private Client law.
• Proven experience handling complex, high-value Private Client matters.
• Strong leadership, supervision and mentoring skills.
• A track record of business development and building lasting client relationships.
• An established network of professional contacts and referrers, or the ability to develop one.
• Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of law firm profitability.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• STEP membership or equivalent specialist accreditation is desirable but not essential.
