Job summary

Eventus Legal in Burton on Trent, Derbyshire, is seeking a Private Client Paralegal to support a solicitor on high net worth probate and other private client matters. This full-time, office-based role offers a salary guideline of £25,000–£26,000 depending on experience.

You will assist with probate applications, wills, trusts, inheritance tax and lasting powers of attorney, drafting documents under supervision and liaising with clients, executors and beneficiaries, with the aim of gradually

Qualifications

Around 1–2 years' experience in mixed private client work.
Sound understanding of probate and estate administration procedures.
Clear communication and client care skills.

Responsibilities

Support probate and estate administration, including probate applications and related docs.
Assist with wills, trusts, inheritance tax and lasting powers of attorney matters.
Draft wills and lasting powers of attorney under supervision.
Liaise with clients, executors and beneficiaries, providing professional client care.
Maintain accurate client files and manage priorities within a close-knit team.
Develop towards managing a small caseload, including straightforward wills.
