Job summary

Eventus Legal are seeking a Private Client Paralegal to join a reputable, well-established law firm in Burton upon Trent, Derbyshire. This full time, permanent job is fully office based and offers a guideline salary of £25,000 to £26,000, depending on previous private client experience.

You will join a friendly, close knit team, supporting a solicitor on complex and high net worth probate and other private client matters.

Qualifications

• Around 1–2 years' experience in mixed private client work.
• Sound understanding of probate and estate administration procedures.
• Clear communication with clients and sensitive client care.

Responsibilities

• Support a solicitor with probate and estate administration matters.
• Assist with wills, trusts, inheritance tax and lasting powers of attorney.
• Draft wills and lasting powers of attorney under supervision.
• Liaise with clients, executors, beneficiaries and third parties while providing client care.
• Maintain accurate client files and records.
• Develop towards managing a small caseload as experience grows.
