Job summary

Eventus Legal is seeking a Private Client Paralegal to join the Wills, Trusts and Probate team in Kendal. The role is full-time, 35 hours per week, hybrid working, with a salary of £26,000 to £30,000 depending on experience.

25 days holiday plus bank holidays and access to the firm's online training academy are included. The successful candidate will support solicitors with a varied caseload, including will drafting, lasting powers of attorney, probate applications and estate administration,

Qualifications

Experience supporting solicitors with Wills, Trusts and Probate.
Strong organisation and time management across a varied workload.
Excellent written and verbal communication with clients.

Responsibilities

Progress a varied Wills, Trusts and Probate caseload alongside fee earners from instruction to conclusion.
Draft wills, lasting powers of attorney and probate applications.
Monitor actions and deadlines to ensure timely completion and archiving.
Attend client meetings and prepare documentation arising from them.
Liaise with clients, beneficiaries, advisers and third parties; handle onboarding and due diligence.
