Job summary

Oculus Legal Group in Beaminster is seeking a Private Client Paralegal to support a busy Private Client team. You will assist with Wills, Probate, LPAs and Trusts, while developing your career in a supportive and progressive firm.

You should have prior private client experience, strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach. Hybrid working 1 day per week, salary up to £40,000 and clear development opportunities.

• Experience in a Private Client department.

Responsibilities

Our client is seeking a Private Client Paralegal to join their well-established team based in Beaminster. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous Private Client experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and progressive firm, working alongside experienced practitioners across a broad range of private client matters.

The Role

Day-to-day, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting fee earners with a varied caseload of Private Client matters, including Wills, Probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Trusts.
• Assisting with the administration of estates and trusts.
• Drafting legal documents and preparing correspondence.
• Liaising with clients, financial advisers and other professional contacts.
• Managing files, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Providing high-quality administrative support to the wider Private Client team.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

• Previous experience working within a Private Client department.
• An understanding of Wills, Probate, Trusts and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
• Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
• A proactive approach with the ability to manage a varied workload.
