This is a fantastic opportunity to join a prestigious Legal 500 firm in Bristol as a Legal Assistant within the expanding Private Client Department. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Private Client Department with a wide range of secretarial and administrative tasks. This is an ideal position for someone with strong administrative skills who is looking to build a career in Private Client law within a friendly, supportive, and welcoming team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide typing and general secretarial support in the Private Client Department
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and Teams enquiries with professionalism and efficiency
  • Assist with new client enquiries and liaise with clients under supervision
  • Maintain and prepare client files and relevant legal documentation
  • Input and update information on the case management system
  • Support the department with general administrative tasks and filing
  • Ensure confidentiality and discretion at all times

ABOUT YOU

  • Private Client experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Confident communicator with excellent telephone manner
  • Experience using case management systems is desirable but not essential
  • Highly organised with a strong attention to detail
  • Friendly, proactive, and a team player with a can-do attitude
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively
  • Discreet and professional, particularly when handling sensitive client information
