Job summary

Quilter Cheviot in Manchester seeks an experienced investment manager to provide discretionary and advisory investment services to private clients and semi-institutional clients. You will manage client assets, assess risk, and ensure suitability in line with regulatory requirements.

The role sits in Investment Management and requires strong relationship-building, market insight, and a proactive approach to growing assets while upholding our values and governance standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in private client investment industry essential.
• Managing high-net-worth clients with discretionary or advisory services.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Attract and retain a portfolio of private client relationships to grow assets & revenue.
• Assess client circumstances, investment objectives and risk, and recommend Quilter Cheviot services.
• Ensure suitability of advice and trades for clients and maintain KYC documentation.
• Provide investment reporting and communications to clients and their agents.
• Ensure compliance with FCA rules, AML checks, and Treating Customers Fairly.
• Participate in investment selection processes and client meetings.
