Job summary

Quilter Cheviot in Leeds seeks an experienced Business Development Manager to promote discretionary investment solutions and climate assets to financial advisers in the region. You will work with investment managers on complex client needs and drive new business opportunities through a structured regional plan.

The role requires a Level 4 qualification (CISI/CFA or equivalent), strong local market experience in financial services, and a valid driving license.

Qualifications

• Level 4 industry qualification (CISI, CFA or equivalent)
• Relevant experience in financial services within local markets
• Clean driving license

Responsibilities

• Promote Quilter Cheviot's discretionary investment proposition, Sustainable Opportunity Funds, MPS solution, AIM portfolio and other services to financial advisers in the Leeds region
• Set annual targets with the Head of Business Development - Advice for new investment management business
• Meet new business targets and relevant KPIs
• Support Leeds region by driving new business opportunities
• Coordinate with Head of North Sales and Head of Business Development - Advice on target introducers and assign managers for new discretionary services
• Agree sales initiatives direction with Head of North Sales
• Provide regular reports to senior sales heads using standard formats
• Develop and use a regional business plan to classify advisers for focused efforts
• Cultivate relationships with financial advisers, onboarding new advisers and opening accounts
• Maintain relationships with Financial Advisers and Quilter Cheviot Investment Managers
• Attend business development meetings as required
• Maintain frequent communication with Investment Directors and Sales Management
• Acquire knowledge of products and services and apply them to client needs
• Keep CRM records up-to-date
