Job summary

Quilter Cheviot in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Financial Planner to service an existing portfolio of high-net-worth clients. You will deliver excellent financial advice and outstanding ongoing service, building on long‑term relationships that drive satisfaction, loyalty and trust.

You’ll grow assets under advice by leveraging your own network, warm Quilter leads and self-generated opportunities, while working closely with Investment Managers and discretionary specialists.

Qualifications

• Experienced Financial Planner serving high-net-worth clients.
• Strong focus on service excellence and client outcomes.
• Commercial mindset with ability to grow business through trust and referrals.
• Technical knowledge for regulated financial advice.
• Level 4 Financial Planning qualification (advanced)

Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow an existing client base.
• Provide an excellent ongoing service aligned to agreed service levels.
• Deliver clear, high-quality and compliant financial advice to high-net-worth clients.
• Deepen existing relationships, increasing share of clients’ investable wealth.
• Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline, following up quickly and creating a consistent flow of new business.
• Generate new business through client referrals and professional connections.
• Own your growth plan and targets with coaching from leadership.
• Keep everything compliant – FCA requirements and Quilter standards.
• Work closely with Investment Managers and colleagues across Quilter’s Wealth Management Division.
