Job summary

Arbuthnot Latham in the UK seeks a Private Banking Executive to provide proactive support to one or two Private Bankers and their client portfolios. You will act as PB proxy in meetings and communications, helping with client acquisition and retention through targeted outreach and thorough preparation of lending proposals.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance under FCA/PRA, excellent organisation, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with precision.

Qualifications

• Front office experience is required.
• Good understanding of HNW segment and market.
• Detailed knowledge of lending products and processes.
• Knowledge of AML and regulatory requirements.
• Proactive in client calls and meeting preparation.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy.
• Good IT literacy and MS Office proficiency.
• CeMAP or equivalent professional qualification pursued.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients' day-to-day banking.
• Support Private Bankers to grow and retain HNW portfolios.
• Prepare lending proposals and credit applications.
• Arrange and attend client meetings on PBs' behalf.
• Prepare client briefs and research for private bankers.
• Maintain client records and account procedures.
• Monitor regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with Operations, Compliance and Credit teams.
• Contribute to Change & Innovation initiatives.
