Job description

Our client is seeking a Private Banker to manage and develop a portfolio of high-net-worth (HNW) clients, family offices, and professional clients. This full-time role involves working closely with various departments to ensure a seamless client experience and generate new business opportunities. The successful candidate will play a key role in building and maintaining strong client relationships while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Job Duties:
  • Manage and develop a portfolio of HNW clients, family offices, and professional clients.
  • Introduce and promote the bank's services, including current and savings accounts, FX, debit cards, real estate and lending, investment trading, and asset finance.
  • Maintain high levels of client satisfaction through proactive relationship management and excellent service delivery.
  • Generate leads and referrals to internal business partners and wealth referrals to strategic partners.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance client service and business development.
  • Provide tailored financial solutions to meet clients' unique needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Conduct annual and periodic risk reviews and monitor transactions.
  • Organise and attend bank and industry events.
  • Carry out ad hoc tasks and manage related projects as required.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant industry qualification (e.g., CFP, IAD, STEP).
  • Proven experience managing HNW clients, family offices, and professional clients.
  • Strong understanding of financial products and services.
  • Knowledge of lending parameters and products to generate lending opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across departments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Good understanding of the local Jersey marketplace, including residents, businesses, and industries.
