We are looking for a Private Banker to grow a book of high net worth clients and lead their complete banking relationship with Weatherbys. You will be at the start of the journey of building your own client base as a Private Banker, and looking for a role which will give you the platform to build a portfolio and develop your career.

What Your Day Will Look Like
Building and managing a portfolio of private banking clients, focusing on both the quality and quantity of lending and deposit volumes, as well as generating income from other group banking products such as foreign exchange, investment, and wealth planning
- Building and managing a portfolio of high net worth clients, heading up their complete banking relationship with Weatherbys while providing an exceptional, tailored service.
- Giving regulated advice on lending and investments
- Proactively developing long-term relationships with clients to understand their potential banking and wealth management needs and generate sustained revenue growth.
- Achieving net portfolio growth from both existing and new customers
- Ensuring compliance with all risk, FCA Principles and Rules, other statues and regulations, and Weatherbys standards and procedures
- Introducing clients to the Weatherbys Wealth Planning Team, as appropriate
What We Are Looking For
- Proven ability to build your own client book of HNW/UHNW clients within the UK market.
- Exceptional client relationship management and servicing skills with high net worth clients, with a proactive and innovative approach
- Excellent technical banking knowledge and either CeMAP or IAD qualified, or on your way to achieving one of these qualifications. PCIAM would be an advantage.
- Sound knowledge of global economic and political conditions, current affairs and competitor activity, and the impact these have on clients
- Good understanding, analysis, and interpretation of financial accounts
