Meta's Privacy Engineering team is seeking a Security Engineer to apply adversarial thinking to identify and eradicate real-world privacy threats to products and infrastructure. You will guide engineers through remediation, learn from incidents, and build scalable agentic systems to automate incident response.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed privacy protections earlier in the development lifecycle and lead medium‑to‑large projects from definition to long‑term ownership.

Formación

• 5+ years in technical privacy, security, or security software engineering.
• Experience handling real-world privacy/security incidents.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or C/C++ for secure code.
• Experience with AI coding tools and agents.
• Ability to mentor engineers and document security processes.

Responsabilidades

• Lead technical triage and investigation of complex privacy incidents - reviewing code, system architecture, logs, and evidence to guide engineers through mitigation and remediation.
• Design and build scalable agentic AI systems that autonomously handle incident response and guide secure-by-default coding.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to improve designs and shift privacy protections earlier in the lifecycle.
• Lead medium-to-large technical projects from definition through implementation, adoption, and long-term ownership.
