You will build a filesystem across Capsule range products, focusing on privacy, performance, and cross-device synchronization. The role combines deep technical work with a mission-driven culture that welcomes on-site

Qualifications

• 6+ years in filesystem or storage development.
• Deep knowledge of storage architectures and data structures.
• Experience with encryption methods and secure storage.
• Contributions to open-source filesystem projects.
• Background in NAS or large-scale data storage.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement a privacy-first filesystem.
• Ensure encrypted, resilient storage for cross-device sync.
• Optimise filesystem performance for diverse workloads (personal, server, mobile).
• Build a filesystem that outlives obsolescence and disposability.
• Protect users from bit rot, leaks, and surveillance.
