Job summary

Greene King is seeking a Data Protection Specialist to support the Data Protection Officer in delivering legal and data protection compliance across the business. You will handle data subject requests, retrieve and redact data, and help log and evidence compliance with UK GDPR requirements.

You will collaborate with pub teams, IT and support functions to ensure timely processing, maintain records, and contribute to governance discussions.

Qualifications

• Experience handling disclosure of personal data requests.
• Ability to maintain RoPA records and data incident logs.
• Experience with redaction/ video editing for data sharing.

Responsibilities

• Manage disclosure requests from third parties (police, insurers, licensing authorities, third-party employers).
• Liaise with support centre, pub team leaders, IT and property teams to retrieve data and CCTV recordings.
• Prepare personal data for sharing with data subjects and third parties, including redaction.
• Ensure requests are processed promptly and escalated to the DPO as needed.
• Keep accurate progress and outcome records for each request.
