The Ministry of Justice seeks a Production Instructor to supervise and develop prisoners in specialist workshops, ensuring quality and security standards. You will support learning toward nationally recognised qualifications, with potential collaboration from local colleges.

Hybrid working is available where business needs allow, within the UK. The role includes health and safety compliance, tool checks and maintaining production targets in a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production environment is required.
• Supervisory experience is preferable.
• Experience using industrial machinery and equipment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• May participate in selecting prisoners for the workshop area.
• Induct prisoners to the workshop and train on safety, COSHH, machinery and tools.
• Provide tailored learning and training for individuals.
