Responsibilities
  • Providing medicines management to patients within the prison, with support from a prison service pharmacist.
  • Administering medicines against prescriptions, ensuring correct intake, and advising patients on medication use.
  • Dispensing prescriptions and stock items, supervising assistants, and managing stock control, including expiry date reviews and storage management.
