Job summary

Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust in Bristol is seeking a Band 7 Prison Services Clinical Pharmacist to lead medicines optimisation for prisoners at HM Prison Bristol, delivering structured reviews and minor ailment clinics.

You will work with GPs, nurses and pharmacy colleagues to ensure safe, effective medicines in a secure environment, with opportunities to drive governance, audits and service improvement.

Qualifications

Must be a registered Pharmacist with the GPhC.
Experience in medicines optimisation and clinical governance.
Experience in prison, GP, hospital, community, mental health or substance misuse services would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and deliver structured medication reviews and minor ailment clinics.
Manage repeat prescribing and reauthorisation through SystmOne.
