Job summary

Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Prison Services Pharmacist (Band 7) to lead medicines optimisation for patients in a secure setting. You will coordinate structured medication reviews, run minor ailment clinics and work with GPs, nurses and other teams to ensure safe prescribing.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Pharmacy, GPhC registration and strong clinical reasoning. DBS checks and prison vetting apply.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master’s degree in Pharmacy and be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
• Experience in clinical pharmacy, leadership and service improvement would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead structured medication reviews and minor ailment clinics.
• Manage repeat prescribing and reauthorisation using SystmOne.
• Provide medicines advice, adherence support and clinical reviews to patients.
