Job summary

HCRG Care Group is seeking a Bank Wing Pharmacy Technician to join the healthcare team at HMP Norwich. The role focuses on safe medicines administration, medicines management on the wing, audits, stock checks and monitoring of controlled medicines within a secure custodial setting.

You will work with the Clinical Lead and Pharmacist Manager, self-book bank shifts, maintain records and support medicines optimisation while upholding confidentiality and governance.

Qualifications

• Qualified pharmacy technician with GPhC registration.
• Experience in hospital, primary care, community pharmacy or healthcare setting is desirable.
• Strong medicines management knowledge and safe medication practice.

Responsibilities

• Safely administer medications and manage medicines on a prison wing.
• Conduct medication audits, stock checks and controlled medicines monitoring.
• Deliver a specialist pharmacy service within a secure prison environment.
• Provide medicines administration services with accurate documentation and records.
• Collaborate with clinical leads to ensure patient-centred care and governance.
