Job summary

Practice Plus Group is recruiting a BANK Pharmacy Technician for HMP Onley, a male category C prison near Rugby. You will deliver safe and high-quality pharmacy services at multiple housing blocks, with ACT qualification as desirable.

The role offers weekend, bank holiday shifts and competitive hourly pay. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to medicines management, patient care and cost-effective prescribing while adhering to policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• GPhC registration is required to practise as a pharmacist technician.
• Continual Professional Development (CPD) commitment is expected.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for a prison healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, patient-centred pharmacy services within the prison setting.
• Maintain accurate medicines records and comply with standard operating procedures.
• Manage medicines dispensation and cost-effective prescribing within policy.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
