Job summary

HCRG Care Group is seeking a Bank Wing Pharmacy Technician to join the healthcare team. The role focuses on safe medicines administration and medicines management within a ward environment, supporting clinical teams and ensuring patient safety.

You will work across a variety of services, with opportunities for professional development, flexible shifts, and access to wellbeing resources. The role offers exposure to multidisciplinary care in a custodial healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Experience in medicines management and safe medication practices.
• Able to work independently within SOPs and policies.

Responsibilities

• Safely administer medications to patients and manage medicines in line with policies.
• Conduct medication audits, stock checks and controlled medicines monitoring.
• Deliver a high-quality pharmacy service within a prison environment.
• Provide medicines administration service with accurate documentation.
• Support medicines management initiatives and cost-effective prescribing.
