Job summary

Practice Plus Group’s Health in Justice service at HMP Lancaster Farms seeks a bank pharmacy technician to provide medicines management on prison wings, issue repeat prescriptions, respond to patient requests, and deliver patient-centred care in a secure setting.

The role requires GPhC registration, CPD, and post-qualification experience, with shifts across weekdays and weekends and additional vetting as part of eligibility.

Qualifications

• NVQ/Equivalent and GCSEs required.
• GPhC registration and CPD up-to-date.

Responsibilities

• Issue repeat prescriptions and action patient requests.
• Answer patient queries and provide medicines information.
• Deliver safe medicines management on prison wings.
• Maintain patient records to agreed standards.
