Job summary

Shannon Trust is seeking a dedicated facilitator to lead the delivery and development of our prison-based reading and numeracy programme at HMP Leeds. Working with the prison, staff, volunteers and mentors, you will maximise opportunities for people in prison to learn to read.

Ideally you have experience of prison settings and the personal qualities to build relationships with resilience, determination and a pragmatic, problem-solving approach.

Qualifications

• Experience of prison settings is preferred.
• Ability to build relationships with resilience and a pragmatic, problem-solving approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery and development of the prison-based reading and numeracy programme at HMP Leeds.
