Milton Keynes College is seeking a Library Assistant to deliver library and learning resource services to offenders at HMP Exeter. You will help run the prison library, promote reading and deliver enrichment activities, working with partner agencies and staff to provide a vibrant provision.

The role requires excellent communication and organisational skills to support learners and ensure a high standard of service for all users.

Qualifications

• Deliver library and learning resources to offenders at HMP Exeter.
• Assist in day-to-day running of the prison library and promote reading.
• Develop reading-based enrichment activities for men in our care.

Responsibilities

• Manage lending, returns and cataloguing of library materials.
• Support learning resource services and partner activities with agencies.
• Promote reading and provide high-quality service to library users.
