Job summary

Career Connect in Manchester is seeking an enthusiastic Prison Employment Advisor to support the CFO Evolution contract in the North-West. The role focuses on engaging offenders in learning, training and employment through one-to-one or group work in custody and through the Gate.

You will work with remand and sentenced individuals under National Probation Service supervision, ensuring high quality delivery, adherence to contract standards, and helping participants achieve their resettlement

• Experience collaborating with partner organisations to achieve best outcomes.
• Comfortable using databases and maintaining strong attention to detail.

Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and confident Prison Employment Advisor to help us deliver the CFO Evolution contract in the North-West. The contract works with offenders in custody and Through the Gate to help them address their resettlement goals.

The job involves working with people on remand or serving custodial and community-based sentences, supervised by the National Probation Service, to engage them in learning, training and employment opportunities, either through one-to-one or group work.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to people and communities.

You’ll need to be:

• confident and proactive
• a good communicator with a non-judgemental approach
• effective at working with partner organisations to ensure the best results for our participants
• comfortable working on databases and have a strong attention to detail

We are especially looking for applicants who have experience of helping offenders or other vulnerable groups to move forward in their lives.
