Zusammenfassung

Novus is seeking a Local Education Manager at HMP Birmingham. The role leads the education team within a prison setting, shaping educational strategy and ensuring high-quality provision. It is a permanent, full-time post with 37 hours per week.

The successful candidate will manage teaching staff, drive continuous quality assurance, and build partnerships to enhance curriculum delivery while ensuring safeguarding and DBS checks are in place.

Qualifikationen

• Teaching qualification - minimum Cert Ed or PGCE.
• Hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy.
• Experience in developing, leading and managing a team.
• Experience in managing colleagues and delegation.
• Experience implementing quality assurance procedures.
• Experience in partnership working.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and enthuse teams.
• Strong organisational skills and prioritising workload to meet deadlines.
• Ability to analyse trends and assess impact on curriculum.
• Proficient IT skills and contract management abilities.
