LTE Group, via its Novus prison education service, seeks a Deputy Local Education Manager in Manchester to lead a team, shape educational strategy and secure high-quality education for learners.

The role requires teaching qualifications, leadership experience, and strong collaboration with partner organisations; a permanent full-time post based at HMP Manchester with DBS checks and safeguarding compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Teaching qualification (Cert Ed or PGCE) required.
• Level 2 literacy and numeracy qualification required.
• Experience developing, leading and managing a team.
• Proven ability to implement quality assurance procedures.
• Strong partnership working and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage the local education team to deliver high-quality provision.
• Drive continuous quality assurance and improvement across courses and curricula.
• Collaborate with partner organisations, Ofsted readiness, and safeguarding requirements.
