Job summary

Cranstoun is recruiting a Key Worker to join our psychosocial drug and alcohol service at HMP Birmingham. You will deliver case management, assessments, care planning, and one-to-one interventions to adult male clients, with a focus on harm reduction and motivational work.

You will work in partnership with the clinical team, providing group work and engagement support, coordinating continuity of care, and helping individuals prepare for release into the community.

Qualifications

• Experience in substance use treatment or related field.
• Ability to work within a prison setting.
• Competent communicator.

Responsibilities

• Deliver case management, assessments and care planning.
• Provide harm reduction and motivational work through one-to-one interventions.
• Deliver group work and engagement support; collaborate with clinical team.
• Coordinate continuity of care and work with other service providers.
