Job summary

Make-Ready, based in London, seeks a Printmaker to join a small team and increase production capacity across a flexible shift. You will work five days per week, with 40 hours and shifts that may include weekends. Salary ranges from £34,000 to £38,000, reporting to the Founder & Master Printer.

This hands-on role develops independence over time, with training and close collaboration. The ideal candidate combines practical printmaking skills with reliability and strong teamwork in a dynamic studio

Qualifications

• Practical experience with silkscreen printing in a professional or edition-printing setting.
• Experience operating hand benches or semi-automatic silkscreen presses.
• Understanding of registration, ink preparation, colour mixing, substrate handling and drying.

Responsibilities

• Operate Make-Ready’s silkscreen printing equipment, including hand benches and presses.
• Develop the independence required to work outside core hours and increase production capacity.
• Produce high-quality prints within established processes and provide timely delivery.
• Prepare inks, materials, screens and equipment for projects.
• Develop knowledge across registration, colour, substrates, drying and finish.
