Job summary

Optimum TA Ltd is seeking an experienced Flexo Printer in Daventry to operate and optimize flexographic presses. The role requires setting up equipment, adjusting machine parameters, and ensuring consistent print quality across runs.

You will work with finishing equipment and contribute to yield improvements while adhering to safety standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in labels or packaging printing, a solid grasp of colour matching, and the ability to troubleshoot

Qualifications

• Experience operating flexographic presses in labels, packaging or similar print environments.
• Strong knowledge of print quality, registration and colour matching.
• Confident in setting and adjusting printing equipment.
• Good problem-solving ability and IT system literacy.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.

Shift: Rotating shifts, 6:00am – 1:00pm and 1:30pm – 9:15pm

We’re recruiting an experienced Flexo Printer to join a well-established print manufacturing operation in Daventry.

The Role

• Set up and operate flexographic printing presses
• Monitor and adjust machine settings to maintain print quality and performance
• Ensure consistency across print runs, including registration, colour match and repeat length
• Identify and resolve printing issues
• Operate and assist with finishing equipment including die cutters, slitters and rewinders
• Support continuous improvement, including SMED and yield improvement
• Work closely with production and maintenance teams
• Follow all health & safety and quality procedures

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience operating flexographic printing presses within labels, packaging or a similar print environment
• Good knowledge of print quality, registration and colour matching
• Confident setting and adjusting printing equipment
• Good problem-solving skills
• Comfortable using IT systems
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
