Job summary

Direct Recruitment (Midlands) Ltd is recruiting a 3D Print Technician for our Stone, Staffordshire-based workshop. You will operate and maintain 3D printers, prepare print jobs and help keep production running efficiently in a small, family-style team.

A proactive, reliable candidate with a can-do attitude will thrive here; prior 3D printing or workshop experience is useful, with training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in 3D printing, manufacturing, engineering, CNC machines or workshop environments is useful; training can be provided.
• Experience with CAD, slicing software or maintaining 3D printers is an advantage but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating 3D printers
• Preparing files and print jobs for production
• Loading and changing materials
• Monitoring prints and resolving basic printing issues
• Removing, cleaning and finishing printed components
• Checking finished parts for quality
• Carrying out routine printer cleaning and maintenance
• Keeping the workshop and production area clean and organised
• Packing and preparing completed orders
• Helping with general production and workshop duties

We are representing a small, family-run company looking for a practical and reliable 3D Print Technician to join our growing team.

We are looking for someone with a genuine can-do attitude who is happy to get involved, solve problems and help wherever needed. As a small business, everyone plays an important part in keeping things running smoothly, so this role would suit someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in getting the job done properly.

The Role

Your day-to-day work will involve operating and maintaining our 3D printers, preparing print jobs, checking finished parts and helping to keep production running efficiently.
