Job summary

Mast Group Ltd. in Bootle is seeking a Print Room Assistant to join the print department and support daily production against quality standards.

You will operate print machinery, handle gluing, folding, and stock management while maintaining a clean, safe workspace; you will collaborate with other departments to deliver high-quality print products in line with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• GCSE in English and Maths (or equivalent).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable using design software.
• Experience with paper handling to reduce waste and downtime.
• Ability to follow defined processes and work to deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support print department by operating various print machinery.
• Glue papers, leaflets and boxes; assist folding operations.
• Manage stock levels of paper and consumables.
• Operate a programmable guillotine (training provided).
• Keep a clean, safe working area and cooperate with other departments.
• Flexibility to undertake additional tasks as required.
