The role emphasises hands-on involvement, fault finding and continuous improvement across the department, with opportunities to mentor colleagues in a modern manufacturing environment.
Are you an experienced Print Finisher looking to join a highly respected specialist printer with an outstanding reputation for quality, precision and innovation?
Our client is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to become an integral part of their production team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a modern manufacturing environment where quality is paramount, investment in technology is ongoing, and every member of the team plays an important role in delivering exceptional products to customers.
You’ll be responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining specialist finishing equipment, ensuring jobs are completed efficiently, safely and to the highest possible standard. Working from production specifications, you’ll oversee the entire finishing process, achieving production targets whilst maintaining exceptional levels of quality and consistency.
This is a hands‑on role where you’ll lead and support Finishing Assistants throughout each production run, helping to maximise machine performance, minimise downtime and ensure customer deadlines are consistently achieved. You’ll also carry out first‑line fault finding, complete production documentation accurately, undertake routine operator maintenance and play an active role in driving continuous improvement across the department.
We’re looking for someone who has previous experience operating print‑finishing machinery. You’ll have a keen eye for detail, take real pride in the quality of your work, and possess the confidence to make decisions on the production floor. Strong communication skills, good organisational ability and experience leading or mentoring colleagues will all be highly valued.
We ask that you only apply for any of our vacancies if you are resident in the UK and have recently worked in the print, packaging or paper sectors.
If you’re looking to join a forward‑thinking specialist printer where your skills will be recognised and you’ll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact within a high‑quality production operation, we’d love to hear from you.
