Job description

About you

You're someone who likes being organised, knows how to keep things moving and takes pride in getting things done properly.

You're comfortable managing several things at once, whether that's processing orders, speaking with suppliers, arranging deliveries or making sure the right people are in the right place at the right time.

Most importantly, you're someone who takes ownership. If something needs chasing, you'll chase it. If something doesn't look right, you'll pick it up. You don't need someone constantly reminding you what needs doing next.

Your experience

You’ll have experience working in an administrative, order processing or coordination role, ideally with at least three years behind you.

You might currently be working in logistics, fleet management, equipment hire, machinery supply or a similar environment where you're responsible for keeping processes running smoothly.

Experience within print would be useful, but it's absolutely not essential.

What's more important is that you've dealt with customers, suppliers and internal teams, you're comfortable using business systems and you understand the importance of accuracy, communication and following things through.

What you'll be doing

You'll be joining a business that supplies professional printing machinery and equipment to customers across the UK and internationally.

Working closely with the sales and accounts teams, you'll be responsible for processing orders, checking details, communicating with suppliers and making sure everything is progressing as it should.

A big part of the role will involve coordinating machinery installations. Once an order has been placed, you'll help arrange the logistics, engineers, equipment and timings needed to get everything installed successfully.

You'll also be involved in processing purchase invoices, dealing with credits, providing delivery updates and keeping customers informed throughout.

There's plenty of variety, and you'll be working with different people throughout the day. The important thing is making sure nothing gets missed and that each process is followed through to completion.

About the business

This is an established business supplying specialist printing equipment, consumables and technical solutions.

They're creating this position as the business continues to grow, with the aim of having someone who can take responsibility for the coordination and administration that sits behind their sales and installation activity.

You'll be based at their Basildon office, working directly alongside the teams involved in delivering equipment and supporting customers.

Next steps

If you're organised, enjoy coordinating different moving parts and like seeing things through from start to finish, we'd be keen to have a chat.

You don't need to know the print industry. If you've got the right experience and approach, we'd love to hear from you.
