Job summary

Acorn Recruitment is seeking a Print Operator for a well-established manufacturing company based in Mold, North Wales. This permanent, full-time role involves ink dispensing, colour correction and maintaining production quality.

You will manage ink handling, stock and colour matching, while following hygiene and safety standards. The position offers alternating 7am-3pm and 1pm-9pm shifts, Monday to Friday, with training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience with ink, colour matching or print-based machinery.
• Excellent colour vision and attention to detail.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Familiarity with manufacturing or production environments.

Responsibilities

• Dispense ink according to daily production plans.
• Manage press returns and organise materials by colour clusters.
• Place weekly material orders and book deliveries using the internal management system.
• Maintain stock records and prepare for month-end counts.
• Replenish materials and ensure the ink area complies with hygiene and quality standards.
• Support colour correction, troubleshooting and production trials.
• Maintain colour measurement equipment and produce KPI reports.
