Job summary

Amnis Recruitment is seeking Print Helpers to join a plastics manufacturer in Woolston, Southampton. You will assist the printing operator and help with materials, packing and quality checks. Training will be provided and you will work a four-on, four-off pattern with weekend shifts.

Candidates should have practical production or warehouse experience, be reliable and able to travel to site for all shift times. A potential for a permanent position may arise based on performance.

Qualifications

• Has practical production, manufacturing, packing or warehouse experience.
• Is reliable, punctual and willing to learn.
• Follows instructions and works well within a team.
• Takes pride in maintaining quality and cleanliness.
• Can work rotating day and night shifts, including weekends.
• Can travel reliably to the site for all shift times.

Responsibilities

• Support the operator running the flexographic printing machine.
• Prepare materials and keep production supplies ready.
• Clean machinery and maintain a tidy, organised work area.
• Pack, label and carry out basic quality checks.
• Complete production records as required.
• Follow site procedures and health and safety instructions.
• Handle materials, including rolls weighing 30-35kg, using approved methods and equipment.

If you have experience in production, machinery, packing, assembly or warehouse work and enjoy a practical role, we'd love to hear from you. Previous printing experience is not essential—training will be provided.
