Job summary

BT plc seeks a highly experienced Voice, Unified Communications, Contact Centre & Voice Agent Architect to define and deliver the next generation of enterprise communications solutions.

You will lead the evolution of intelligent communication ecosystems that leverage AI agents, orchestration, automation, APIs and cloud-native technologies to transform customer experiences at the session layer and B/OSS workflows. The role spans UK, Hungary, India and other European locations.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership in defining technology strategy for large enterprises.
• Ability to influence executive stakeholders across business and technology functions.
• Extensive experience with Voice, UC, CCaaS and API-led integration.
• Hands-on experience with modern telecoms architectures and agentic voice apps.

Responsibilities

• Define target state architecture for Telephony, UC, CCaaS and CPaaS.
• Develop architectures for Number Management, Emergency Service, Regulatory Compliance and Interconnects.
• Lead adoption of Agentic AI and AI Harness methodologies.
• Establish event-driven and AI DevSecOps standards for architecture.
• Drive vendor assessments and technology selections.
• Oversee legacy capability exits and migrations.
