Digital Waffle is expanding its US business from Birmingham and seeks two Principal Tech Recruitment Consultants to join the team. You’ll work hybrid, engaging with US clients and candidates, owning searches, and driving growth alongside the US Director.

You’ll recruit in US tech markets, build lasting relationships, and advise on hiring challenges, with a track record of impactful placements and strong billings. This role offers autonomy and clear progression.

Qualifications

• Established tech recruitment consultant with proven experience recruiting into the US market.
• Strong track record of placements and billings.
• Credibility with technical candidates and hiring managers—you understand your market and can offer informed advice.
• Ability to take ownership, manage your pipeline and work independently.
• Relationship-led approach with high standards throughout the recruitment process.
• Ready to make an impact at Principal level and contribute to the wider team’s success.

Responsibilities

• Recruit exceptional technical talent across competitive US markets.
• Build and develop strong client and candidate relationships.
• Bring specialist market knowledge to searches and advise on hiring challenges.
• Headhunt difficult-to-reach talent and manage recruitment processes through to placement.
• Identify opportunities to grow your specialism and the US business.
• Collaborate with the US Director to shape the growth strategy.
