Job description

As a Senior / Principal Systems Engineer, you will work in the Integrated Project Team (IPT) engaged in the development of the JEWCS Land and Maritime project. Our Systems Engineers span a range of activities that help integrate all necessary engineering and technology aspects into a high-performance system. As a Systems Engineer, you will bridge the gap between theoretical possibilities and practical implementation.

The successful candidate will have experience in system engineering lifecycles, including problem definition, systems architecture, verification, and validation activities within a project.

What you will do:

We are seeking engineers to help us integrate Communications, Electronic Attack, and Electronic Surveillance equipment into various asset configurations. As a team member, you will have the opportunity to lead aspects of design, integration, and testing of advanced RF systems for vehicle platform integration.

Work Experience

Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge Required

Essential:

• Experience in the design and integration of complex systems
• Knowledge of RF communication systems
• Understanding of Electronic Warfare (EW/ES) systems
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to steer technical discussions
• Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels, engaging directly to resolve detailed technical issues
• Ability to define and influence design decisions within project and customer environments
• Ability to define test and acceptance criteria and assess system design compliance against requirements
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or related discipline
• Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills

Desirable:

• Experience working collaboratively across large teams to achieve business objectives
• Knowledge of IBM Engineering Requirements Management DOORS
