This role offers an opportunity to establish yourself as a Maritime Systems Engineer and Project Engineering Lead (PEL) within the UM UK Sonar Business, supporting the Royal Navy and global allies.
Reporting to the Project Manager and working closely with the Systems Design Authority and Engineering Manager, you will oversee engineering across product development, provide leadership, support customer meetings, and engage in hands-on engineering.
This Principal Systems Engineer position requires experience in engineering management, team leadership, and complex product development, preferably in Maritime, with expertise in:
Sonar experience is advantageous but not essential. The role is hybrid, with on-site work at Greenford three days a week and occasional travel. The selection process involves a two-stage interview: a video call with the Head of Systems Engineering and an on-site interview with the Project and Engineering Managers.
